Welcome to my site,
A. M. Nielsen works as a veterinarian in Colorado. She lives with her husband, two children, and three dogs. Her personality, which is both creative and analytical, suits her career choices well. Many say, "medicine is part art, part science," and the same can be said about creative writing.
Nielsen graduated with high honors, earning a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Michigan State University. She has completed certification in veterinary medical acupuncture and diagnostic ultrasound and has developed advanced skills in surgical dentistry. She earned an Essential Skills certificate from the American Medical Writers Association (AMWA) and is pursuing an online MFA in creative writing with Southern New Hampshire University. Nielsen has published several articles on veterinary medicine and the craft of writing. She is currently working on a five-book historical romance series set in early modern Eastern Europe and plans to release the first book soon.
Currently, Nielsen is immersed in the world of early modern Eastern Europe, finalizing a five-book historical romance series. Her narratives prioritize inclusive storytelling, exploring neurodiversity and multiculturalism through a lens of historical authenticity. Her work invites readers to explore the timeless complexities of the heart, grounded in the rich, often overlooked tapestries of our shared global past.
